Depending on the form you use, we may collect your name, email address, telephone number, enquiry type, message, coaching experience and availability. A player enquiry may also include the child's name, current school year, preferred section and team of interest.
Please do not include medical information or other sensitive details in a website enquiry. A team official will explain the secure registration process if your child joins the club.
We use this information to respond to enquiries, identify a suitable team or age group, arrange an initial conversation or trial, and respond to coaching or volunteering interest. Our lawful basis is the club's legitimate interest in answering enquiries and organising grassroots football. Where necessary, we may also use information to meet safeguarding or legal responsibilities.
We do not use website enquiry details for unrelated marketing and we do not sell personal information.
Information is shared only with committee members, welfare officers, team managers or other club volunteers who need it to respond. Website forms are processed by Formspree and delivered to the club's email account. Our website hosting provider may process basic technical logs such as IP address, browser and request time for security and operation.
Service providers may process information outside the UK. Where this happens, we rely on the provider's contractual and legal safeguards for international transfers.
Player enquiries should be submitted by a parent or guardian. We request a school year instead of a full date of birth so that we can identify the appropriate age group while collecting less information. We use a child's details only to deal with the enquiry and possible participation in the club.
If an enquiry does not lead to membership or an ongoing role, we will normally delete it within 12 months. If someone joins the club, relevant information may be transferred into the club's registration and safeguarding records and retained under the applicable club or FA retention requirements.
The site does not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. Our hosting and form providers may use strictly necessary technology to operate their services, prevent abuse and keep them secure.
You may ask us for a copy of your information, request a correction, object to or restrict its use, or ask us to delete it where the law allows. Email secretary@linsladegalaxyfc.co.uk to make a request.
